Deconstruction Business Contributed by Justin on 1/17/09 11:44AMI'd have to think there are companies out there that do this, but how about this business model:
1.) you buy foreclosed, run-down or abandoned properties
2.) you dismantle the entire structure, selling off any wood, metals, etc. that you can find for recycling purposes
3.) you make the lot a level surface again and plant grass to make it an open field
4.) the company will still own the lot to prevent other people from building on it and sell it later for a profit, or try to buy neighboring lots to build a giant field.
if we keep building and building and never returning lots to their original state, i think we're going to run into a problem.
(CT has no open fields btw, it's pretty sad) < Things I Want To Do in 2009 | News Archive | Post A Comment | Change has come to America >

No open fields in all of CT? Google Maps disagrees. ;)
